Since the early 1990s, Maria Hansen has been providing voice and singing lessons to professionals and students alike in the Milwaukee and Madison, WI, areas. Students and peers love Maria, whose voice lessons have inspired many to open up to an art and boldly travel the world.
Since the opening of her studio in 1990, Ms. Hansen’s students have been admitted to some of the most prestigious music schools in the country including the Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, the Eastman School of Music, the Oberlin Conservatory, Indiana University, and the Peabody Institute, to name a few.
Ms. Hansen’s students been accepted into the Ezio Pinza Council for American Singers of Opera in Italy and the Opera Arts Training Program in San Francisco. They have been regional finalists in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, the Rehfuss Tournament at Orlando Opera as well as the MacDowell Club of Milwaukee Scholarship Auditions. Her students have appeared in “The Phantom of the Opera National Touring Company,” the London cast of “Miss Saigon,” and the European tour of “West Side Story.”
Ms. Hansen divides her time between Milwaukee and Madison, WI, and is always delighted to discover talented, industrious students whom she can assist in reaching their goals.Contact
